A week before his marriage to Fiona (Julie Bowen), fast-food executive Roderick (Simon Baker) receives an email with the names of 101 women, 29 of whom he's slept with. Deciding it's a complete list of his sexual history, past through future, Roderick breaks up with his fiancée and begins sleeping with everyone on the list despite the risk that he might die when he's done. Meanwhile, mysterious Death Nell (Winona Ryder), last on the list, is killing men as revenge for her own past ill-treatment.

As a writer, Waters is best-known for creating Ryder's sharp black comedy, Heathers, and Bruce Willis' self-indulgent bomb, Hudson Hawk. As a director, he tends to waste actors, and he fails to establish a consistent comic tone.

Admittedly, it doesn't have many belly laughs, but if you're tuned into Waters' peculiar, highly intelligent comedy style it's a fascinating watch.

A man's life is turned upside down when he receives an e-mail with the names of the women he has and will ever have sex with and encounters a femme fatale who targets men guilty of sex crime. A deeply flawed attempt at being clever about sex and death.
