Logan D @Greynomad38 02/11/2024 Two siblings invite their group of friends to stay at the house they inherited from their grandfather. They discover gramps had a secret room with a summoning circle. Demonic hijinks ensue. I wasn't paying attention. I thought we were looking at my watch list on Prime but instead we were reading suggested films. So, accidentally viewed a film I hadn't researched and wouldn't have been on my list. There are elements to the story I liked, such as how some plot holes were filled and the twist at the end. And I love the representation of not only a deaf actor, Sandra Mae Frank, but that the majority of the cast also signed. Sadly, can't recommend the film as a whole due to character issues and unrealistic emotional responses. The actors are decent as is the camera work, but the script is unforgivable See more 04/15/2020 I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I was expecting a psy-fi channel stupid movie and this was much more than that. Parts were actually scary and the story was fresh. The acting was also very well done.
