With public anticipation running high, Apple Inc. co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve "Woz" Wozniak get ready to unveil the first Macintosh in 1984. Jobs must also deal with personal issues related to ex-girlfriend Chrisann Brennan and their young daughter Lisa. Eventually fired, Jobs launches NeXT Inc. and prepares to release a new computer model in 1988. Ten years later, Jobs is back at Apple Inc. and about to revolutionize the industry once again with the iMac.

So STEVE JOBS is more of an actor's movie in which the performances outweigh every other area of the film. Which isn't a negative, but is what it is. Take that for what it's worth.

The Jobs here will always be "Aaron Sorkin's Jobs"... who people say was nerdier and more youthfully exuberant than the fully in-control maestro depicted in the film. But Fassbender does a great job with what he's given.

Michael Fassbender plays Jobs as a micromanaging perfectionist who wears his public persona like an exactingly-tailored suit, sharp and smooth and poised, while he fails spectacularly at maintaining personal relationships in private.

I wanted to like this a whole lot more, but too many inconsistencies for my liking. The performances were very well done, but the story lacked much depth for me to get intrigued. It felt slow yet quick and I couldn't figure out which one it really was.

I've followed Apple since the beginning. This movie doesn't tell the Apple story. It doesn't do justice to the company Mantra.

This movie really shows us the personal struggles that Steve Jobs had, in his personal life, and work life. I really liked it, from the launch of the Macintosh that needed to be perfect, to re-building a relationship with his daughter. Loved it and highly recommend it!

Aaron Sorkin's script never fails and Michael Fassbender's performance as Steve Jobs was the best lead performance of 2015, he should've won the Oscar.

Not knowing anything about Jobs beforehand he comes across as another obnoxious tech bro and remains one, whilst we follow his journey of manipulating the creation of a new computer for everyone. Rich men screwing over the rest of the staff, & other brains, to achieve their personal legacies. The pace is slow with a wordy script feeding us background info rather than flashbacks. I think this would’ve suited a theatre stage much better than a cinema screen. Just left me with an empty meh feeling.
