We cared about these characters but could give a sh*t about the "superhero" characters dominating the useless nonsense being offered today. And, at the end, we did not feel like slitting our wrists. On the contrary. The cast was excellent, especially a young Joan Collins. Even Jayne Mansfield did a credible job. In my eyes, Joan Collins is more attractive, but over the years Jayne Mansfield overtook her in the hotness sweepstakes. Instead of a car chase we have an attempted bus chase, that proves to be totally unnecessary. We know two characters had sex because the girl lost an earring inside a barn! Points for originality.
