What to Know

Critics Consensus

Meryl Streep still wears Miranda Priestly like a finely-tailored suit in this sinfully enjoyable sequel, which is dressed to the nines in off-the-rack wish fulfillment and some trenchant observations about the state of modern media.

This sparkly sequel provides a satisfying balance between nostalgic callbacks and intelligent updates to suit a more contemporary, if sadder, media landscape. Go to Full Review

While it's not as fun as it was the first time around, "Prada 2" gives viewers more to think about than just high fashion. It's an appropriately stylish move. Go to Full Review

Is "Prada 2" as good as "Prada 1"? Of course not. But it's not bad. Go to Full Review

We are fully in our "eat the rich" era, as billionaire oligarchs play keep-away with our basic human necessities. Any flick that has a "look at the fancy lady having to fly coach" punchline is going to feel at least a little tone deaf. Go to Full Review

[The Devil Wears Prada 2] captures the essence of what made the first part so fun, crisp, and refreshing, bringing it into 2026 quite beautifully. And all that is topped by some brilliant acting and writing. Go to Full Review

Primo 40m Amazing I am going to go back and watch it again! See more TAHJ 42m The sequel had the perfect ending. I loved the Looks. My only complaint is I wasn’t gagged enough at the plot like the first movie. I can say I’m satisfied & my itched is scratched with this storyline & I’ll always love both movies also if you purchased more than one popcorn purse to resell you will begin to cough in 3 days for 5 weeks. See more Jewels 44m It is a light, enjoyable movie. Mostly funny and had several silly connections to the first movie. The fashions shown/worn intentionally range from ridiculous to stunning. Some famous fashionista cameos are also fun. Story follows a similar format from the first movie, but it is not intended to be deep and unique. Left the theater with a smile. See more Joshua 45m Not the greatest plot or the greatest sequel to what was the greatest movie about fashion, but it wasn’t terrible, and the ending was better than the entirety of the movie. See more JMBA 53m This movie was a complete bore and waste of time and money. It doesn't close to the original movie. Don't waste your fashion on this one. See more angela 55m I loved that they picked up where they left off and kept the characters intact. It was a lovely movie, great acting, lots of fun. See more Read all reviews
