[It’s] a thriller without thrills, a movie without a trace of an identity of its own. Go to Full Review

The Girl in the River plays entirely by the book, by which I mean that there’s not a plot development you don’t expect. Go to Full Review

Predictable and full of cliches, this psychological crime thriller is emotionally hollow, offering little evidence of its talented cast. Go to Full Review

Stiffly directed with a script full of clichés, this film’s only salvation is a few sturdy and believable performances. Go to Full Review

jackeline Y @RT66895204 16 hrs ago Devon Sawa did good with what he had to work with. The acting for everyone else could use a lot of work. They’ve been in the business so long that more is expected. The story reaaally lacked originality. I pretty much knew the plot. The main characters were boring, we knew nothing really about them, there was no real character development, no personality behind the boring characters. I was just bored, there wasn't any real detective work. The main detective (forgot her name she was so forgettable) was wrong nearly the entire movie yet was held up as a hero! Wtf! The killer was blah, considering these are known actors, I felt like I was having a fever dream and they were in my own imagination because the acting was really bad in my opinion. The best part for me was the butcher telling off the main male detective (again forgotten his name) that felt like the most believable scene. Bad plot, bad characters, bad dialogue, bad acting and overall just a bad, very boring movie. See more get F @RT94132462 3 days ago Don't waste your time watching this. Cheap budget movie. Bad acting. hard to understand. Some very stupid dialogue. Boring. It really is as bad as it gets. See more Buxxie E @RT41063744 4 days ago The entire story rests on the question who handles raw chicken and it wasn't everyone else who had a chicken dinner that night but only the butcher ..... That's some lazy writing... See more Read all reviews
