Saw prescreening of this movie the day before it officially came out, the first 45 minutes of the film where absolutely great, genuinely unsettling and was afraid to watch at some parts in the beginning. Even had a good Jumpscare once or twice. But the ending was distasteful and overly dramatic with how it ruined the atmosphere of the entire build up of the first half of the movie. It became predictable and repetitive fast in the last half hour. I would recommend watching this movie if you enjoy the found footage genre, this film is comparably better than some of the other ones that have recently come out, but its definitely for a select few audiences to enjoy all the movie. Solid beginning, mediocre at best ending found footage. Also was directed by the same people who made Blair Witch Project, which I definitely see similarities in. Keep expectations lower than normal and you will enjoy this movie.
