Very unsettling and sad. Well acted with good character development and pacing. Definitely wouldn't recommend if you're looking for something feel-good to watch.
This movie was just ok.
The acting was good, but the movie was lopsided.
The main character was weak, and they did not show the tension of the military having to worry about being killed by the terrorist.
If they had explored the total tension of the region it would have been a suspense classic, but alas no..
Surprisingly fresh: I was expecting an action-thrilled apology to war with the US being -as usual- the heroes... instead the movie shows a dark vision of what war is: a dark vortex where values and moral can be shattered
Unfortunately, under the first 3 minutes of viewing this film, I was turned off by ‘Hollywood's' poor and uneducated directing and portrayal of a Naval Captain saluting an enlisted army member and not seeing the respected exchange. The actor just looks as he walks by. This is just not a true representation of the honorable military and Hollywood's liberal, underhanded attempt to push their beliefs on the viewing public and then declaring this film is based on true events to capitalize and profit. I despise Hollywood and their dictation of socialist beliefs, while contradicting themselves by receiving huge profits of a free-enterprise republic.
this is a nice way for seeing the movies
"War movie, but not too much, thriller, without ever exceeding, and distorted formation novel. Many identities for 'The Kill Team', unfortunately not enough coagulated in a single, powerful story. It turns out, instead, from this mix, a paradox: the multifacetedness of the film is its weak point" (Andrea Giovalè).
While dealing with a heavy subject for a true story, The Kill Team never really gets captivating enough among the situation it is presenting. It rather feels like the tension was risen up just for the story sake.
A shot taken at our troops all the while these people fight to re-elect the maniacs who start these wars. Garbage propaganda movie.
Alexander Skarsgård is exceptional in this movie! It's one of his best performances.
Was on the phone for a good portion of the movie.
