Noah W 10/20/2024 One of the most painful Christmas movies to watch ever. The soundtrack is ear grating, voice acting is painful, and the quality of the movie is bad. See more 03/31/2012 The Magic Christmas Tree is one of the most terrible films ever made, bar none. Even Manos: The Hands of Fate has a more concrete plot than this. The difference here is that it gets a slight pass from me because of my personal connection to it. My father was someone who would go to the video store and record whatever he laid his hands on. As a consequence, I got to see a lot of films that I wouldn't have ordinarily seen otherwise. This is one of them, and I watched quite a bit as a kid. Revisited it today, it's hard to believe that I liked it at all, but I did. It doesn't hold up for me today in any capacity, but I'm glad that it exists. The crew at Rifftrax recently did a good riffing on it. I can't recommend the film, but it's a hoot to watch. If you can find a copy of this movie, get stoned and pop it in. You'll get belly aches of laughter. See more 01/20/2012 Holy wow. Bizarre and awful Christmas movies is its own woefully overstocked genre. See more 12/24/2009 The most bizarre Christmas film out there starts off as a children's Halloween film, but some how becomes a Christmas film. Filled with filler scenes like a man trying to start a lawnmower and a turtle eating grass. One of those flicks that you see that makes one wonder WTF are these people doing wasting all of this money and time on such a piece of crap. Truely unique film that falls into the so bad it's good, but am I lying to myself because it feels like total crap genre. Only for diehards and fans of strange pictures.
