That three shepherd children should have seen a vision of the Virgin Mary on a hillside in Portugal in 1917 is incredible enough. This picture succeeds in making it utterly unbelievable. Go to Full Review

Never quite emerges from the shadow of the earlier, superior The Song of Bernadette, but ups the ante with sterner opposition… and a more dramatic climax. Go to Full Review

John Brahm tries to balance simplicity and spectacle in this WWI Portuguese-set religious tale, but uncharacteristically ends up making a pious and dull movie; even Max Steiner's powerful, Oscar-nominated score can't help much. Go to Full Review

Anthony M. @Tony7777777 3d Coming from a Catholic Family background as a kid I had spirituality within my heart and soul but it definitely evolved over the years my mom used to do pilgrimages to the Blessed Mother and years in my life later I prayed the rosary and been praying over two decades Plus from the heart and on October 28th 2024 I took a picture of this cross that was in the sky I didn't view it till 9 days later at my Uncle Jack's funeral mass and I almost fell to my floor when next to the Cross which had a long extension to the cross was a complete image and it wasn't no cloud formation of that of the Blessed Mother now what are the odds of taking a picture of a cross and right next to it is his mother clear as day so I'm blessed to say the least and ironically in the movie The Blessed Mother tells the children I'll give them a sign in October and that's when I took the picture I didn't have to be shown that for my belief which will last for all eternity See more Joel H @RT47793553 Apr 18 I learned about Our Lady of Fatima when I lived in Portugal years ago, but I never really knew the full story. And even though The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima is a dramatization, it gave me more information and context about the events, which I appreciated. However, as a movie, it’s not that compelling. Even though it has a runtime of less than two hours, the plot feels long and repetitive. I am, however, quite impressed with little Sherry Jackson, whose performance broke my heart. I’m glad to finally know more about this story, but I don’t think I’ll watch The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima again. This is a movie everyone should see. It's sad of all the suffering the children had to endure and no one believing them. See more 12/24/2012 another good religious bio-pic about the children who saw the BVM in 1917. See more 04/05/2012 A gently paced telling of a wondrous event that evokes emotion through the genuine performances of its three young central characters. As with most stories of faith that are handled with care, this particular film is a lovely experience, not tarnished too much by Hollywood's treatment. See more Read all reviews
