In a near-future society, The Running Man is the top-rated show on television--a deadly competition where contestants, known as Runners, must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins, with every move broadcast to a bloodthirsty public and each day bringing a greater cash reward. Perhaps our bias for the 1987 version has overtaken the more novel-accurate version Wright gives us, and while this remake is certainly entertaining, it lacks something to make it really stand out amongst the rubble of similar dystopian films.

Plot was a bit all over the place. Also, the relationship with the girl at the end was kind of a waste. The Schwarzenegger version was better. Even if it was a little campy. Kind of a shame cause I really like this actor.
