The best thing I can say about The Sheep Detectives is that it unfurls like a true successor to George Miller' and Chris Noonan's Babe. Like that film, The Sheep Detectives knows how to play its bonkers conceit with a straight face.

Best movie I've seen in a few years. Seriously. Took our 11 year old and wasn't expecting much. The story had compelling characters (most of which are sheep, which surprised me--talking animals usually aren't my thing), a tightly woven, logical plot, and humor that hit right every time. Some of the best storytelling and I loved the feel-good PG rating? Make more like this!!!!
