There’s plenty to like, but I do wish the film was more interested in solving its own mysteries instead of just being a rushed imitation of Makoto Shinkai’s far better romantic fantasy anime film, Your Name (2016).

Its story is its best highlight! The story alone is one of the most meaningful stories I’ve ever seen in an anime movie, let alone the whole film industry. Putting his own little sister above his own romantic interest is definitely a heart-wrenching idea. The movie itself is like a fairy tale. If I tell the story without telling where it is from, people would surely be amazed at how easy the narrative is to navigate, but also at how much depth and meaning the movie conveys. The characters, animations, sound design, music, and the story all add up to a very convincing, emotionally-moving story. All in all, it is a "Must-See" for people who can distinguish between cliché and not cliché.
