Overall the film was a generic action period piece. It was very well done and a very breezy pacing, i never found myself getting bored. The strong point was the performances from Andrew Garfield and woody Norman. The film was very enjoyable but nothing groundbreaking, I recommend watching it.

"The Uprising" is a strikingly political film referencing the historical events under the tyrant king of Shakespeare and the revolution. Paul Greengrass creates a modern take on the medieval epic that reflects our times with a incredibly performed ensemble led by Andrew Garfield.
