Shad M @RT81459288 Feb 23 Rotten tomatoes is completely compromised & rotten. If you review something poorly that is on their list of movies that CANT be reviewed badly like Odyssey, your review will hang in limbo forever. Try for yourself right now. Go leave a review on it that is 1 star but well written and within their guidelines and watch it sit in limbo forever waiting for 'moderation'. Come back in a week and change it to 5 star without changing written review at all and watch it go through instantly, no longer needing moderation. Mine sat there 2 weeks until I did that, it went through instantly when I changed it to a 4 star without changing anything in the written review at all. Got the idea after watching someone else do on YT erase theirs that was hanging and fill it with completely offensive material and re-submitted with a 5 star review... That went through instantly as well, INSTANTLY with no moderation process. RT is exactly as the name implies, rotten to the core. See more 12/05/2021 Who watches this chee$y crap?! There's a reason why there's no critics rating on this film. Rose Reid could be a decent actress if she abandoned the "conservative" filmmaking and actually worked with a "ballsy" script and a good director. See more 02/16/2021 Could of been a pretty good movie, but come on with the radical racial tension as if this was 1950... absolutely ridiculous. See more 02/13/2021 Really sweet, kind romantic coming-of-age movie. The racial tension is handled with a balanced touch, in my opinion. Beautiful scenery! See more 07/18/2020 A heartfelt movie that I would highly recommend for younger audiences to watch with their families. See more 05/23/2020 This movie is well suited to a younger audience I'd say 16 and below. It has an extremely simple and easy to follow story line with a predictable but satisfying ending. Although it battles the struggles many people face in their lives such as, depression, racism, gambling, money problems, ect. It is slightly dated on how they speak of interracial couples but is still educational. The two lead roles face adversity through the loss of a family member, a difficult home life and racism but this is what brings them together. I'd recommend a watch. :) See more Read all reviews
