Saleena piano 3 hrs ago I loved some of the choices, particularly: Mi Chiamano Mimi Vissi d'arte Non piu mesta Liebestod Largo al factotum Ride of the Valkyries Trio from rosenkavalier Pourquoi me reveiller Aknaten I thought the following were not musically the best: Fille du regiment sequence Recitation from Rheingold In fernam Land (would have preferred ensemble at the end of the act -- less declamation) Final scene from Onegin (would have loved it if it had had titles) Cortigianni (again no titles, would have preferred the quartet) Three soprano Puccini arias -- would have preferred one soprano and one tenor, then another selection of another composer More Verdi They should have had titles throughout, as they did when the operas were presented in full.
