Molly Gunn (Brittany Murphy) has never worked a day in her life and has lived like a queen since her father, a famous rock 'n' roll star, died and left her his fortune. But everything changes when Molly realizes that her manager has stolen her money. She lands a job as a nanny for Ray (Dakota Fanning), a young girl whose serious attitude is the opposite of Molly's carefree one. Though I found Mr. Yakin's direction unexpectedly imaginative, and the script often incongruously subtle, I couldn't get into the spirit of all the whimsy, the reason being the surprising lack of charm in the two leads.

Am I the only one who cried during this movie? I thought it was going to be one of those funny comedy movies but it really touched on some serious stuff. Definitely a good watch and should make you emotional...that is if you have a heart.

Ésta es una película un tanto rara pues no sigue un patrón reconocido. Si bien la trama puede considerarse previsible, los personajes son lo bastante poco comunes como para compensarlo, convirtiendo ésta en una película sin igual. Honestamente, me gustó. Es una película original y cuenta con una interpretación increíble por parte de Dakota Fanning en lo que consider, uno de sus mejores papeles, sinceramente una maravilla. Creo que es una película que todo mundo debe ver al menos una vez.
