John W @RT18279564 Jul 20 The movie is very low-budget, which isn't the biggest problem. The dialogue and the characters’ actions are okay. But unfortunately, the story doesn’t make much sense. Most of the time I couldn't even find a plot. On top of that, it’s boring and the characters aren't interesting. Many people will probably watch this movie because of the violence, but that alone doesn’t make it good. Overall, it’s disappointing. It's some science experiment that wants chemicals to be extracted from their brains. See more adam b 06/19/2021 I can see why Taylor Sheridan doesn't consider this his directorial debut. Absolutely astonishing Sheridan directed a film this bad. People are forced to torture each other to produce chemicals that's extracted from their brains, like this sounds like something QAnon would think up. Literally watching people aimlessly torturing each other the entire runtime was pretty unsatisfactory. People that actually enjoy this really need psychiatric help See more 02/21/2021 This movie has a great basis for some good ol fashioned torture and gore, but there are a lot of missteps in this movie the plot is loose and the backstory on why this designer drug is in demand and how they are used once they are created and sold. With this being said a deeper backstory could have created a much better backdrop for our main characters and their deathly journey through this house. Overall the movie kept me entertained and I thought the cast was well chosen, no one stole the spotlight, but the acting was more than tolerable. So basically, he tries to save his friend, who appears to still be alive, but then just leaves him there.
