Kevin M @MarcoKevin 4h Wake Up Sid is one of those movies that grows with you. When I first watched it during my college days, I connected deeply with the first half and Sid's carefree lifestyle. Rewatching it years later, I found myself relating much more to the second half and the responsibilities that come with adulthood. What makes this movie special is how realistically it portrays personal growth. I could see parts of myself in both versions of Sid living comfortably under my parents' roof and later trying to become a responsible adult, build a career, and find my own path. The movie brought back memories of moments when I felt lost, alone, and uncertain about life. Some scenes hit surprisingly hard because they reflected experiences I had gone through myself. Watching Sid's journey reminded me how much I've changed over the years. A heartfelt and relatable film that feels different every time you watch it, depending on where you are in life.
