There's nothing revolutionary or artistically groundbreaking here, but there's something reassuring in the fact that this is what the French have anointed as their biggest hit. Vive la (low-key) diffrence.

[Dany] Boon tinkers with the formula just enough to make his story fresh and the sentiment at its heart not too sweet, though compounded contrivances in the last 30 minutes of the picture threaten to unravel its peculiar magic.

I even have a French first name and could not tolerate this. French comedy about being transferred to the French boonies. Not very funny either. On Prime.

A great movie, a great cast, amazing fun. What can I say. The french movies are nowadays way ahead of those american blockbustercrap. Hollywood does not want good script, not good acting. They hust want explosions, cgi and the face tonsell the crap. Honestly. French movies are the best. This one, the Intouchables (no not that shi. with the annoying kevin and the in that movie rewlly bad bryan)
