Narratively, the story is at its most compelling when it strays from the source material and ventures into new directions. It left me wishing Fennell opted to write an entirely original story instead.

While the unlikable characters do make this a hard slog to get through the beauty of the film itself does overcome that. Robbie and Elordi are sensational and for some strange feeling I do believe this will go down as a classic.

Was a fairly good movie if you never read the book. It's like they took pieces of the book and chose how they wanted the story to be! This movie should have been more accurately written based off the book or not made at all.
