The visual pace, due to Ishida’s cutting, is quite high and the rapid shifting of imagery helps keeping the spectator engaged. Go to Full Review

Despite it having some issues with pacing and presentation, the movie has interesting characters and some funny and thrilling moments along the way. Go to Full Review

It doesn’t even get much mileage out of its most incisive joke: that there’s only a fine line separating a sleep-deprived office drone from an honest-to-god zombie. That would’ve taken brains -- and teeth. This moribund comedy doesn’t have either. Go to Full Review

Someone wanting a condensed retelling of the source material, or someone simply looking to explore Zom 100 for the first time, will be delighted with this version. Go to Full Review

It is over-the-top and whimsical, but since it’s a horror comedy, it’s appropriately tense and gnarly. The zombies look amazing, but that zombie shark had me punching the air in excitement. Go to Full Review

For a film about breaking free of convention and trying out new things to make the best of a bad situation, Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is mostly just bad. It does get the checking boxes part down, but there is little life to the experience. Go to Full Review

Michael L @RT81305596 Sep 27, 2026 Pleasantly surprised. I was skeptical, but really enjoyed this movie start to finish. A lot of great action, funny moments and plot twists. See more diogo13 T @Tua_mera Aug 9, 2026 The initial concept of a corporate satire with zombies is brilliant, dynamic, and very colorful. However, the story loses immense strength by succumbing to childish clichés and an over-the-top climax that spoils the initial pace, leaving the feeling that the potential was wasted. See more Swati B @Swatii Jun 1, 2026 It was a refreshing take on the zombie genre. Instead of focusing only on survival, the story is about finally enjoying life after escaping a stressful routine. The mix of comedy, action and colorful visuals makes it feel fun and energetic, even during the apocalypse. Entertaining, uplifting, and a surprisingly positive zombie adventure. See more Peter F @RT28007450 Mar 8, 2026 Starts nicely enough, then slows down, becomes boring, then cheezy, then unbearably didactic. Turns out as a cute but ultimately hardly bearable Disney-clone. See more B K @BrielleK Feb 24, 2026 2 stars, I doubt anyone is gonna read this… But as someone who loved the anime, this felt like a missed opportunity. The anime’s black-and-white corporate intro switching to bright color after the outbreak was such a smart visual metaphor. The live action completely dropped that and played it safe. The aquarium arc (yes, zombie shark is funny) felt overblown. I would’ve rather seen them traveling toward Akira’s parents’ house and slowly building up the antagonist who attacks the village. That would’ve given the story more weight. Probably more cost effective. Some bucket list moments also just "happen." Parachutes and surfboards appear with no setup. In anime that works. In live action it feels lazy. And cutting the blonde samurai-obsessed foreigner was a huge miss. Overall, not terrible, just watered down compared to what it could’ve been. See more Megan F @RT20091738 Jan 9, 2026 If I could give it 0 stars I would the acting is something out of a press school play it's god awful the Intire prospect of this wait of 2 hours I still don't know the only good thing about this was when it finish the characters made my contemplate life the zombies are just a copy of zombie land and tell me why this man became a blue power ranger / one punch man the ai was awful the sharkwas just dumb there was no consistency with it one minutes it's strong enough to brake threw 20 inch concrete and then pushing a fork lift back but the next getting beaten up by a scrawny kid doing dress up who is apparently just a normal kid bty the way there was no consistency threw out and no one cleary uses there heads making this unless it was there kids before bed do not watch unless u wanna die of boredom and regret waisting time on this crap See more Read all reviews
