Maybe a reason why all the doors are closed, so you could open one that doesn't kill you. Five of Spades—Game of Tag. A little tedious, but new interesting characters are introduced and new elements unveiled. Seven of Hearts—Hide and Seek. "Hide so the the Wolf won't find you. Hide well, Lamb." A show that isn't shy of emotional turmoil. Though nothing makes sense, the plot thickens. Four of CLUBS, people!!!—Distance. It is clearly not spades. Clearly not testing your physical strength. Also, to be honest, some of the shots are really, really quaint and pretty. But the transitions are just bland and choppy. Four of Diamonds—Light Bulb. This is a stupid riddle I had come across when I was like 10, but cool, okay, sure. Ten of Hearts—Witch Hunt. Ten of Hearts—Witch Hunt. Ten of Hearts—Witch Hunt. It's a cliff-hanger sure, but it's been one since the start and this is getting repetitive now. The show shines brightest in its brilliantly designed, high-stakes games of logic and survival—episodes like the chilling "Hide and Seek" and the paranoid "Witch Hunt" are pure adrenaline and make for some of the best TV suspense out there. While the middle section gets a bit bogged down in the political drama of "The Beach," slowing the pace, the incredible performances, stunning visuals, and emotionally charged finale more than make up for it.
