Tv Season Info

The second series of the gritty NYC crime drama begins with a supporter of the new mayor being murdered and the mayor asking Frank (Tom Selleck) to spin the story so it looks like a random act of violence. Meanwhile, Jamie (Will Estes) gets his first undercover assignment. Later, brother and sister Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Erin (Bridget Moynahan) face off in court when the cop is called to testify in a murder case DA Erin is prosecuting; and Frank tries to stop a biological-weapons attack on the city. Carrie Underwood and Tony Bennett performed a duet during the Series 2 opener.

Critic Reviews for Blue Bloods Season 2

All Critics (3) | Top Critics (0)

Blue Bloods isn't the kind of show that would allow an imaginary terrorist attack to actually play out. The lack of suspense there, however, was balanced by the tension of Frank's consideration of retirement.

Right family in an ordinary world is keeping good habits. Sweet to watch it with a glass of old single malt :)

Blue Bloods should be ILLEGAL because it is totally ADDICTIVE !! (grin) I love it so much that I find myself surfing my DirecTV guide, looking for scheduled episodes. I watch it on CBS (its home network) but have found that ION and WGN air MARATHONS of its episodes every week and I watch them over and over. Blue Bloods has the perfect cast to portray the Reagan family. So happy to see Tom Selleck still at the top of his acting game. I have loved him since Magnum, PI so many moons ago. I'm 73 now and he still sets my heart aflutter. Also, fondly remember Len Cariou from his starring role on Broadway in Sweeney Todd. He is the perfect 'Pop' to the Reagan Clan. Hope this series lasts for many more seasons. CBS, please don't fail us on this !
