Raunchy, offensive, funny.

His fiery delivery and knack for re-framing social issues couldn't have returned any sooner.

Mar 21, 2017 | Rating: B+ | Full Review…

Just like the two hours I watched 14 years ago, watching these two hours makes it feel like Chappelle is working toward something. It's his way of telling us, "I'm around, I'm doing shows, and I'm having a great time."

Mar 21, 2017 | Full Review…

After nearly three decades in show business (he was 14 when he first went onstage), Mr. Chappelle not only has a new kind of gravitas, but he has also embraced his status as an older comic with mature worries.

Mar 21, 2017 | Full Review…

Time and again, Chappelle shows a willingness to dissect his own thinking, share his own foibles and be honest about his mistakes and doubts.

Chappelle embarks on one of the most intellectually and narratively impressive moments of his career.

If, say, you didn't feel your expectations met watching him on Deep in the Heart of Texas, there's The Age of Spin right after it to enjoy.

Dec 19, 2017 | Full Review…

Dave Chappelle is back, rising like a phoenix from the ashes of his self imposed exile, with plenty of insight to share.

Apr 5, 2017 | Rating: 5/5 | Full Review…

What's most striking about his performances isn't how shocking they are, but how they reveal the extent to which the rest of the comedy world has caught up to Chappelle's brand of provocation.

Apr 28, 2017 | Full Review…

The specials work in an episodic fashion; watching them together gives a deeper experience.

Sep 8, 2017 | Full Review…

If Chappelle really wants to be a feminist he should read some bell hooks, and Angela Davis, or the book Women of Color and Feminism by Dr. Maythee Rojas. It might help him understand that rape is a sensitive subject for all women.

When Dave Chappelle makes a comeback, he really comes back.

It's thoughtful, but above all funny.

Star wars, Marvel, game of thrones are my bread and butter. I don't really like stand up comedy. But I watched this and hung onto his every word. Pure gold listening to Dave Chapelle, and I had no idea who he was.

Dave is a modern day poet. He's a comedic genius.

Brilliant – Dave Chappelle is back and as good as ever. Produced by Netflix, a stand-up routine of the legendary Dave Chappelle, recorded live at the Hollywood Palladium in 2017. Topics include OJ Simpson and Bill Cosby. Brilliant - Dave Chappelle is back and as good as ever. At his peak, in the early 2000s, Dave Chappelle was the funniest man on the planet. His brand of irreverent musings, largely on racial matters, was screamingly funny. After a long break, he’s back, and it’s as if he never left. Clever, funny and delivered in his hilarious over-the-top manner.

So happy he is back. He is just funny, he talks openly about what people are afraid of, and it is not in an insensitive way. He keeps it real and has broke away from all the politically correct crap that many avoid to not offend people. He has always always always been one of my favorites. Glad netflix brought him back.

Mr.Chappelle killed it.....bad critics need only be reminded, relax it's comedy and its entertaining! If you laughed, slightly smirked or ROTFL.....Surprise!!!! He got us laughing, it's that the point? Dave's right he says what we are all thinking! What really cracks me up is he laughs at his own jokes. He's too funny even for himself....true entertainment!
