Their mission of helping others will be put to the ultimate test when our group finds themselves in uncharted territory, one which will force them to face not just their pasts but also their fears. It's a crying shame that it's come to this. I am not particularly hopeful for this season, though they've surprised us before.

Whatever is to come with Daniel, Dwight, and the helicopter gang, it's clear that AMC is dedicated to making the various threads of its marquee franchise as interwoven as possible...

One of the major problems is that there are few great characters left on "Fear TWD."

As bleak as Fear has been over the last four seasons, this new season is willing to embrace the better, brighter side of human nature.

How did this show go from being better than the TWD in season 3, to being one of the worst shows on television. Simple, fire Dave Erickson and hire Ian Goldberg & Andrew Chambless. They sabotaged this show, its barely recognizable anymore.

This show has turned into a boring soap opera. Interviews that go on and on, sharing feelings, put me right to sleep! I thought it was about surviving the zombie apocalypse. I tuned in to see FTWD and instead got Dr. Phil. Jerry Springer has more action.

Horrible once the new showrunners took over in season four.

wow, this show used to, IMHO, be better than TWD. It showed how the whole thing started. but after season 3 things started going downhill and in circles. dumb decisions after dumb decisions by the characters, too many story lines, kids, nuclear plant, helicopter lady, chasing trees and the painting on them, oil fields on and on and on. the whole group is spread out thin. Last 4 episodes were not worth the TV time, Stand/Alicia chasing trees, Daniel/Nuclear woman looking for supplies, which btw if they go back to Daniels warehouse is a lot easier, Morgan/Al chasing a story, cowboy couple are looking for a girl that decided to leave on her own without telling anybody. the convoy that nobody seems to know where they are going. etc... to many story lines. And for Pete sake, enough with the hand held camera shots already.

As if what they did to Season 4 wasn't bad enough, the entire show now wanders about as aimlessly as the walkers it is supposedly fighting against. Previously badass characters have been reduced to cartoon versions of themselves - a former assassin given a cat as a sidekick, ruthless con-man turned beer bottle hot air balloon pilot - and it's hard to care about such a slow moving plot when we don't care about the characters any more.

I used to really enjoy it, but it's become a parody of itself. The writing is absolutely pathetic, and the stories make no sense. Awful.

I didn't think the show coukd get worse after season 4, I was wrong...

This show has gone precipitously downhill. The characters has no self worth and the so called antagonist is hardly threatening if anyone besides Wendel thought to point a weapon at her and sneeze. The aspect of bringing everyone back together with new characters was awesome. However, if you seriously think in real life if El, the person who lost her pride and joy that which she lived for most in the world almost died for wouldn't pull the trigger and kill who took everything from her, you're literally trying too hard to wire a script. This season is beyond frustrating to watch.

When the characters in your show make a dumb choice once in awhile the viewer can write it off to stress or a poorly written idea. When they continually make choices that no one would ever make in thier place it becomes painful to watch. The first 4 episodes were a tragedy of poor writing and characters making wierd choices. Not telling your daughter about the undead because you think she can't handle it? Letting a 15 year old kid walk alone into a dark house without checking if it's ok (after killing your zombie boss) then driving off? Dumb. The fact is in the modern watcher is generally too smart for this sort of poor writing and it turns us off. The same thing happened to TWD . The writers/showrunners greenlit poorly conceived story arcs and had their characters make stupid choices to fit a storyline that made no sense. In the end this was pitched as a show about a family surviving the zombie apocalypse we saw the end of in The Walking Dead. In TWD we saw the aftermath of the fall of civilization. In this show we were supposed to witness the collapse and great panic. Instead we got tired story lines, paper thin premise and poorly written characters. Lots of promise, but poor writing and tired old TV tropes make us give it a hard 1 star.

I keep trying to give this show a chance but they take one step forwards and then two back. The cameras have to go the logic is the people who will not come see them will see the videos exactly how will they see them ? It is also bad t.v. watching them thru and alleged camcorder and the actors talking to the screen One show did this and was a hit but as that show went on they barely did it all and that was modern family. The writing on some parts got better then it is well horrible they have these people acting so stupid there is no way you would believe they would survive. The zombies are slow but some how keep pace with people who are running. Then these slow zombies manage to walk all the way up to their camp in the middle of a field and no one see's them until their in the camp ? They try so hard to make drama it is a zombie movie you don't have to worry about that. The scene when they are taking off in the plane and they are trying to unhook the net. They reach down almost getting bit, they kick them and then finally they shoot them why in the hell wouldn't they shoot them in the beginning it made zero sense. Their in a truck and the zombies are 100 feet away the zombies turn and start walking towards them and they slam the truck in reverse and crash again why ? These people have seen the walkers a thousand times they are not in a state of shock. The zombies were not close all you had to do was turn the truck around honestly if they can't do that they would be already dead. There are so many example's of how stupid they have these characters playing stop it that's what is ruining the show. It has been since the beginning first it was bad casting and bad writing they fixed the cast but now stop writing like you are a 12 year old kid doing this as a homework assignment. That's how bad it is we know this show can take all kinds of liberties you have zombies for Pete's sake you do not need to make drama by having supposedly survivors making mistakes they would have either died from or made them years ago. There is zero suspense anymore you can see what's going to happen because of the bad writing. Also what happened to them being able to cover themselves in walker blood and walk among them ? I don't know how many times when they were surrounded they could have done this and anyone who new they could do this would have. Don't write that stuff then have your characters suddenly forget they can do it and unless you plan on killing them off. I am sick of people surviving after doing something so stupid that no one would do in that situation. Take the guy in the wheel chair he has a gun a walker is coming at him does he shoot it NO he turns his wheel chair around and uses the spikes on the back. Shocker another one comes and he's stuck why because that was the dumbest thing and no one in a wheelchair would have done that. I am trying to watch the last of this season but if it keeps up like this I quit. I have talked to a lot of people about this show a lot just stopped watching it and the others agree that the writers either think we are idiots or have never read the scenes they have already aired. None of them think the characters would be making the same stupid mistakes years after this started. Like now in episode 9 they have 6 people out there trying to help someone and they only brought one gun ? They have zero look outs for not just walkers but humans when they are at camp but if they are getting gas suddenly they need them. Either you need protection and look outs all the time or you don't need it all make up your mind. If you have 20 armed men and women no one is going to walk up and get them but not with these writers they have and assault vehicle automatic weapons but they always seem to be victims and either people walk right up or walkers do it not just last writing its bad writing. Like I said you have fricking zombies there is room for all kinds of freaky stuff to scare and entertain but you rely on stupidity. I have been waiting to see more zombie animals you have had some you could add more this would increase the danger level without someone with a gun in their hand using their foot to fight a walker because that was moronic. I end up saying this out loud watching this show every time come one they would not be that stupid and still be alive. Think about that this is not season 1 or 2 anymore these people should be experts by now.
