I 100% believe the author looked at Darwin's game and said "I'll write that, but gay" We got the same dynamic of the lead characters, but gay. Tough side character is a loner from the start of their life, and falls beyond madly in love with the main character. But HRI just says "Ehh just let her fall in love for no reason." Main characters are the same but gender swapped and dumbed down a lot. They literally go through the same development "I won't kill a person. Then they proceed to become ok with killing." We got a calm and collected gun boy who starts off as a villain but then turns out to be a friend later on(they both also wear masks and hold guns). They have almost the same personality, besides HRL some boring little quirks here and there(like trying to be cool for some reason). Then there's the intelligent leader type who is not the leader for some reason. They both share a thing they get mad at people for bringing up. Like age and names. We got the timid innocent girls that both look the same. They both are incredibly powerful but don't use their powers because they don't think they are strong, but eventually start using their powers for the sake of others. Even the setting is the same as the latest volume of Darwin's game that was published before the first volume of HRI came out. With high rise hotels and such, being transported into such a place out of nowhere. All of it seems like more than a coincidence. See more 06/09/2021 This is possibly one of the worst anime i have ever seen, appauling characters, lazy story line that goes LITERALLY NOWHERE, and the animation is pretty dated and pathetic at times. The classic semi-paedophilic fan service is nauseating throughout IF YOU WANT PORN WATCH PORN FFS. How this is rated 18 i have no idea as i have seen more violent and disturbing 12 rated series. I just hated this series throughout tropey dull characters with no depth at all and no real reason to like or dislike eachother everything is just so pointless. If you liked this anime i can only assume it's your first time watching tv or seeing cleavage. See more 03/27/2021 Actual garbage. Horrible pacing, overall just bad voice acting, and 90% of it is just fan service. The characters are flat and have hardly any character, and the few backstories we have were incredibly cringey.
