You know, barring that whole "Reign Of Terror" business and the rise of Napoleonic authoritarianism and all that-but yeah, sure, enlightenment! Go to Full Review

La Révolution delivers a unique take on a tumultuous period of human history. It is brutal at times and delivers a worthwhile story, even if none of its characters ever truly shine. Go to Full Review

Damien A @Jekkosu Dec 14 DUDE the way that we had 4 sappers and yet they do nothing made me mad. Like bro no one sacrificed to lower the bridge and it made me mad. Also we have 9 infantry and none were using lance. But what made me happy was the reference to the weapon "La revenant" so peak See more Justin S Mar 19 This is so sad that this will not continue. Not everything is about viewers and money. This is about the love of a great story. I found the story line exciting and the characters enchanting. The ending was thrilling and I watched the season start to finish in two days. I could not stop once I started. Netflix has no pulse for real film making. One of my favorites. La Revolution is a vampire Braveheart. It takes the viewer on an eye opening journey of the French Revolution with a horror twist. By twist, I mean twist and turns around every corner. I was enthralled and left wanting more. Netflix needs to rethink its stance from the amount of viewers, to the quality of films they stand behind. We need more from this director and a second season that takes us deeper into the story we fell in love with. Not because of the attention it receives from statistics, but the art that is created. See more Edward D 10/18/2023 They ended season 1 without an ending and canceled season 2, so it´s an 8-hour waste of time. See more 01/31/2022 C'était une série remarquable. Netflix a annulé la série. Quelle perte. See more 08/14/2021 Good show with really high production value. Costume design and set pieces were top notch. Same goes for the camera work, look and general atmosphere. Unique story with a unique choice for a time period to set it up against. And overall, some strong acting to go along with it all. Just read that it won't be getting a second season and that's a shame. Definitely think it was deserving of at least one more season. Also- I think it's hilarious that there a good amount of people complaining about it being not historically accurate. Like what?? That's like being pissed about Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter not being historically accurate. They are monster horrors. How factual can you expect stuff like this to be?
