Kalea L @Kai808 Feb 20 I watched Lovestruck in the City when it first came out and I did not like it, but I just rewatched it in 2026 and I really appreciate this story. It is not the fancy kdrama that is very unrealistic. This drama shows real people, real struggle that is quite relatable. I hated Eun O the first time I watched, but the second time I watched I finally understand her hurt, her past and why she became the way she was. And Jae Won simply did not say he loved her as Eun O, he was also in the Romanic version of Yeon Seo Ah. He never asked her deep questions or why she was in Yang Yang. It was easy to understand why Eun O treated it as a fling. This drama is quite healing to watch, especially if you have experienced rejection in life like Jae Won and Eun O. You will find it relatable and not too heavy to watch but you can cry along. Jae Won is so handsome, so attractive, and a bit silly. They are a really good looking couple. Deducted one star as ep 17 is totally unnecessary. Conta a estória de Jae-won e Eun-oh onde se encontra e se conhecem na praia e acontece a magia do amor entre eles. Mas Eun-oh esconde seu passado e mente seu nome. Eles se casam e maneira fantasiosa e fazem juras de amor. Até o momento que o mundo dos vivos volta para eles e Jae-won tem que voltar a Seul mas eles combinam de se encontrar. E ele sem pegar o nº de celular dela e vice-versa. Acabam não se reencontrando e JAe-won cae em depressão a procura dela. Porém o destino apronta onde eles tem amigos em comum. Até o dia que se reencontram porem Eun-oh evita Jae-won. Ele sem entender nada fica procurando o motivo, porem ela continua evita-lo. Até que não tem mais jeito, e ela revela tudo. Assim eles se separam, porém por um curto período de tempo, pois o amor se aflora e Jae-won tem a missão de se apaixonar por uma pessoa totalmente diferente que ele conheceu na praia. E o Amor vencerá. Apesar de ser 17 capitulos o tempo de cada capitulo é bem menor 30 min. Metade do tempo dos doramas normais. Seria a mesma coisa que assistir 8 capitulos. Isto trouxe um dinamismo, pois se fossem de 1 hora teria de ter muita enrolação. Pois este dorama não tem muito conteúdo. É um romance mediano. Para quem gosta de dorama bem meloso vai gostar. Despite being shot as a mocumentary from the start, each episode is laid out like a piece of an intricate puzzle that each viewer has to put together for himself. You won't see any familiar tropes in this drama: no evil mothers-in-law or predictable love triangles. There are three couples, and their relationship styles are shown in a fun and entertaining way. With all its flawed characters, this drama is perfectly imperfect, and that makes it strangely addictive. I, for one, watched each episode several times. It's a real gem. You will be captivated by the story, and when the drama aired once a week on Netflix, fans shared so many emotions. Everyone loved Ji Chang-Wook who starred as Park Jae-Won, and so many were angry and frustrated with the woman Lee Eun-Oh (played by Kim Ji-won) who hurt his feelings. The mix of a summer love story that didn't last, the short "interview" scenes in between where the actors pretend to be interviewed, and the "now-time" where Park Jae-won is looking for the dream girl from last summer is so well directed and exciting to see.
