No consensus yet.
I look forward to next week, when we learn that Charles is a double agent, working a long grift on Chic, and also to the following week, when Charles will be outed as a triple agent.
With Betty and Veronica going in circles while Archie goes nowhere fast, the show now faces its worst enemy of all: mid-season inertia.
Now THIS is the kind of ridiculousness I want from this show. If only we didn't have to sit through the boring Archie-Dodger stuff - and the Cheryl-Jason story that will never end - to get here.
I do wish the characters were spending more time together more often than they do in "Hereditary," but I also love how the show weaves between these genres and thematically connects them.
I love that this plotline from Season 2 is coming back because it is one of my favorite things that Riverdale has ever done but I really don't want to watch the Cooper-Jones family get played again.
Veronica deserves better than her two parents.
Six episodes in to this season of Riverdale and the brakes are fully off. Finally.
