I love this show, more maybe than Hirway's podcast, which inspired it. Go to Full Review

Hirway is a terrific host, striking an attitude with his subjects that sits midway between easy and awkward. He's curious and informed, but never fawning. Go to Full Review

It's like an up-market version of that old thing, Pop-Up Video... There isn't a dud in that batch of episodes. Go to Full Review

The show's focus on songwriters and song production is also its limitation. Go to Full Review

08/08/2022 This is absolutely my new favorite show. I'm so grateful that a series would delve this deeply into songwriting!! The format is great, the interviews are amazing, The artists they chose are SO diverse, and SO involved with the narrative. Everything about this program really impressed me. I'm excited, and hope that the streaming services create more shows in this vein. Netflix - PLEASE create more musical content like this!!! See more Read all reviews
