Tv Season Info

The third season picks up with the dust settling from the recent merger, but all is not well at the new firm of Pearson Darby. Harvey (Gabriel Macht), still smarting from Jessica's (Gina Torres) refusal to make him partner, launches a plan with Darby (guest star Conleth Hill) to take her down. Their pact involves Harvey representing oil executive Ava Hessington (Michelle Fairley), who's accused of bribery, and taking on his nemesis Cameron Dennis (guest star Gary Cole). Mike (Patrick J. Adams), meanwhile, works to get back in Harvey's good graces and sees his romance with Rachel (Meghan Markle) bloom. Louis (Rick Hoffman) once again faces off with his British counterpart in a battle that ends with him looking for an associate of his own to mentor.

The combination of Gabriel Macht as slick attorney Harvey Spector and Patrick J. Adams as unlicensed legal genius Mike Ross has been a winning one.

Now that is good TV.

I think this is gonna get messy, kids-and I can't wait!

USA's Suits... is smart and elegant - between this and The Good Wife, viewers hungering for legal drama can't complain.

There were some really fantastic moments between Harvey and Louis.

Suits is delightful.

Sep 11, 2013 | Full Review…

The characters, many of who were funny and occasionally unpredictable, have been flattened out through the relentless imposition of trite dialogue.

Suits is more than a pose. There are no dumb or weak characters, just smart sharks.

Jul 22, 2013 | Full Review…

Suits has more internal forward momentum than most anything else on television right now, and when it's on, like it mostly is here, it just cooks.

There really isn't anything new under the sun, as last season's "Rewind" taught us. The mentee always wants to become the mentor, and the assumption of that role always comes at a very steep and potentially life-changing cost.

Audience Reviews for Suits: Season 3

The uneven writing and drastically shift in tone (a whole episode of everyone swearing) was not the smartest decision. I was really annoyed at the sudden change of narrative and irritating characters. I hope the next season is better.

Love this tv show but s3 is one of the least good seasons, maybe even the least good season. I mean, come on, a big fight for cat? Season 2 sure is better.

Excellent. I don't say this about many shows, but this one is great.
  • Apr 25, 2017
    This season is completely delightful.

Its getting tiring! You're stretching one incident over 16 episodes which is far too much. Scottie's boring and Jessica's repetitive!

As usual, great writing and acting, love the story line ...

A completely gripping season thanks to the established character relationships between the core cast as well as a multi-episode, scene grabbing, guest starring role by Michelle Fairley. The drama is turned up and finally we care way more about the characters more than the often flimsy cases of the week. Easily one of the most charming shows for the year.

Season One was enthralling. Gripping plots, plenty of twists and turns to contemplate with brilliantly observed and performed characters. Season Two continued in a similar vein, although the storyline became somewhat far-fetched in an attempt to maintain the high-octane thrills of Season One, the naughtier sex scenes also betrayed scriptwriters running out of ideas. Season Three, however, descends into farce with laughable pantomime English characters (Stephen Huntley and Darby should have looked and sounded like John Stead and Mike Gambit from The New Avengers but their roles are performed by third rate soap opera extras... who are these people? I seem to remember Frasier being similarly handicapped), the mock trial between rival senior partners over the custody of a cat scrapes the bottom of the silly barrel. Were it not for the brilliantly engaging performances by Sarah Raferty (Donna), Patrick Adams (Mike), Rick Hoffman (Louis) and, of course, Gabriel Macht (Harvey) I would recommend that you just watch Series 1 and 2. Season Three is merely a bridge to Season Four, which can only get better.

Everything that I enjoyed about this show has been thrown away and overuse of the one liners and excessive dramatic content just make this really not enjoyable anymore. The show seems to be a show more like Castle and CSI now more than a show with a running storyline.

Wicked show. Cool dudes and hot chicks, chique suits and sleek rides.
