It's all a bit dopey and soapy, but the texture of sun, sand and softness on the Adriatic coast is so real you can taste it and feel it. Go to Full Review

Summertime is a series you've seen before, perhaps many times. It's cripplingly overlong at eight 40-odd-minute episodes and offers nothing new or insightful in any of them. Go to Full Review

06/21/2021 I love the series! The cinematography, the characters and the soundtrack are so beautiful! It makes me so nostalgic for Italy! I loved the soundtrack so much that I had downloaded most of the songs featured! See more 06/06/2021 can't wait for season 3 See more 06/05/2021 Really enjoyed this italien show. Summer, sea, love and friendship. See more 12/05/2020 Fun, super summery, sweet romance. Excellent music, very binge-able. See more 05/12/2020 I watched this show because the trailer caught my eye, it was brightly colored and was the typical romanticism of summer but WOW it's so bad. I was expecting typical cliché romance moments, which can be done well, but not in this show, they picked the most boring clichés, and then the "drama" in the show was so underwhelming it would've been better to not put it in. The acting was decent but the characters themselves were so unlikable and bland at the same time, I even had a problem with the dialogue which was so cringey. Ale is the most decent character, which isn't saying much, and Summer is supposed to be this strong black feminist which is cool, but they stereotypically wrote her character to be that annoying high strung feminist that always ruins thing for everyone, and THESE are supposed to be the main characters. I disliked this show so much I didn't even finish it. I ended up stopping at episode six because I just did not care, I didn't care about the story, the characters, or the romance. The "storyline" was so slow, I get that maybe they wanted it to be a slow burn but it's not a successful slow burn if the audience leave because nothing is happening. If you're looking for a very very very simple teen "drama" this is the movie. See more 05/09/2020 Fue un poco lenta a la hora de contar la historia , con una evidente falta de Química entre la pareja principal. Algunos de los personajes secundarios se ganaron más cariño que summer y ale ... Buena serie ☺️ See more Read all reviews
