It's entertaining, has a plot, and character development. It's true that some effects may not be the best and some actors don't deliver their roles perfectly, but it compensates with good stories. It's not a series about monsters killing for no reason, and what I liked most is that it surprises you; no one is safe, and anyone can die. It hooks you in.
