Aunque los hechos reales fueron alterados significativamente, hay que reconocer el potencial narrativo de la serie y sus notables escenas de suspenso para fines dramáticos. Su capacidad para transportar al espectador a la década de los 90 es indiscutible y convincente, mediante su uso de material audiovisual, tecnología de la época, y una excelente selección musical que evoca nostalgia y hace las veces de una máquina del tiempo.
