The Inbetweeners: Series 3 (2010)

The Inbetweeners

Critics Consensus

The gang graduates after learning not a jot -- each not the least bit wiser or more mature -- but the merry band of sad sacks remain compulsively lovable, still wallowing in humorous plights that are relatable as they are painful to watch.

Critic Reviews for The Inbetweeners Series 3

All Critics (20) | Top Critics (3)

It's very British in its insistence on finding humour in effluence, flatus and vomit. It succeeds, even if queasily for the viewer.

What Damon Beesley and Iain Morris captured so perfectly wasn't just the clichés of teenager life, but the unique intensity and emotional turmoil that comes from sharing your life so closely with your friends.

Apr 18, 2019 | Full Review…

Thanks to some brilliant performances and a willingness to always go that little bit further, The Inbetweeners remains one of the freshest and funniest comedies produced about the very real pain of growing up.

Apr 18, 2019 | Full Review…

While The Inbetweeners is never less than wholly believable, there is clearly a very adult ear at work, producing some of the most carefully crafted swearing on television. It remains, however, completely merciless.

Sustained the giggles... I just wish there were a few more adult characters (especially teachers), and maybe some schoolgirls who aren't all there to be objects of the boy's lust.

Apr 18, 2019 | Full Review…

It's been a good run for The Inbetweeners, a cheerfully vulgar, painfully recognisable trot through the pain of being a middle-class schoolboy from a nice family.

Sep 5, 2018 | Full Review…

The amount of gags and laughs per minute is as dense as its always been, the main cast inhabit their characters fully.

Sep 6, 2018 | Full Review…

Following the hapless efforts of teenagers Simon, Will, Neil and Jay to survive school, gain acceptance, and get laid, the humour was lewd, crude, and very, very funny.

Oct 22, 2018 | Full Review…

It's a damn funny show with an incredibly raunchy but very smart sense of humor. Yes, there are some episodes that don't work, but the batting average is much higher than your average sitcom.

Apr 18, 2019 | Rating: 4.5/5 | Full Review…

These four "friends" had a lot of laughs during their tenure; they just never got around to truly being who they were. If you're looking for a laugh, The Inbetweeners is a solid television program to go to. Just don't hope for anything more.

Apr 18, 2019 | Rating: 5/10 | Full Review…

Though the series is largely known for the insane phrases and terms that it coined, there's still a genuine joy in watching the characters of The Inbetweeners scheme and lie their way into well-written trouble.

Sep 11, 2018 | Full Review…

The feeling of squirming embarrassment is something the show thrives on, and just when you think it cannot get any worse for Will and his pals, the writers step it up a gear - always with hilarious results.

Can be watched again and again, superbly written great series!

This show is a laugh riot. If this is your type of humor, there’s no reason not to love all 18 episodes of this British comedy. It is mostly just for laughs and the story only has a few serious moments. Overall, if you want to watch something short and very funny, look no further and check this one out.

Best Season And Had Some Great Moments Though
  • Sep 22, 2015
Profane, frequently gross out humour and gags replete with bodiliy excretion, this is UK's answer to American Pie, but with funnier jokes! I was sorry to see it end, but looking forward to the two very popular films it spawned.
  • Aug 16, 2014
My favourite TV series of all time
  • May 17, 2014
Episodes like "Home Alone" are pure comedy gold, but their are just as many sweet and resonant moments with the characters as they naively go through their teenage life one social failure at a time, as we all have.
  • Dec 29, 2013
The final season . The inbetweeners series 3.this TV show is still funny as hell.I mean the cast looks like they are having fun and the jokes/the writing is well made.
