The Last Kids On Earth is one of the best kids' shows we've seen all year, mainly because it has plot and character development worthy of shows for grown-ups.

It's all fine. It's not, like, great, but it's fine. And in the end, June disabuses Jack of all notions of damsel-saving, and the four kids save the world together, with remarkably negligible blood and gore. It's fine.

This show is ridiculously good! The characters are loveable and layered and the story line is engaging. The story was set up well in Book One for it to easily go deeper with Book Two. I think the writing is clever, and reels you into an emotional involvement with the kids and their story.

Childish dialogue and jokes, but will entertain a kid around the age of 7. Book is way funnier and more entertaining.
