Look at all the bad reviews from sites like this but in reality, Google user reviews love it. The triggered left hate Wahlberg because he isn't one of the Trump hating leftists. It was a great movie, better than most of the crap Hollywood is putting out now.
Im really surprised that this film is getting so many great reviews, seriously people? The main female lead who knows nothing about security is calling all the shots. Unfortunately she has no solutions for any of the problems that start happening. There is no board of directors, its pretty much her and a guy (the investor who is just learning to fly the one helicopter they have available in the film) Where are the Apaches with Hellfire missiles which would have easily dealt with the main dino character. The characters are less than one dimensional, the dialog is more like a SciFi channel original with a much larger budget. Also apparently they never thought of building an underground containment area for the humans to hide in that would have an entrance to small for any of the bigger dinos to get through. Honestly although this was more hi-tech on the visuals, the storyline and the characters were far better in the original. Then you have the main female lead who wears the same dress the entire time which was the last thing I would expect someone at a park to wear, ever heard of Khakis? The tired old theme of the evil and greedy corporate/military group that was only interested in the profit of weaponizing the dinosaurs. Anyone that knows science knows that reptiles have some of the smallest brains on the planet and are really untrainable, yet these raptor/hybrids apparently are smarter than dolphins and can make decisions about when and who to follow as their leader. This was so dumb it should be off the charts on the dumb scale. Really America?
This was one of the most boring movies I have seen, visually it was interesting I have to give kudos for that but the story was just bad. It's strange the majority of the reviews that gave it high rating are clearly people who love the story because they all go on to explain how it's ok that this movie was incredibly boring because it is leading up to a final exciting ending. The fact is if you never read the story you would care less that they spent two hours setting up a prologue to the final. This movie would never stand on it's own and good films should always stand on their own.
Good movie if you want to see what the heroes of our country are faced with go see it.
