Tries to be an interesting subversion, and at first, it had me, but it becomes lifeless and dull after the beginning.

You'll have to be a D fan. I definitely am, and I found this movie pretty enjoyable for the most part. Unfortunately it crumbles down a bit in the end.

Has just enough Godzilla to leave you wanting more, but leaving satisfied. Unfortunately, the human parts drag it down a bit.

A vastly overrated film that has some inspired moments but overall is a mess.
