Far better than its predecessor, it's just plain excellent, with an amazing story and groundbreaking action scenes!
Though enjoyable, with its breathtaking CGI and nostalgic moments, I'm afraid it was pointless to make, since it's the perfect example of a shot-to-shot remake, copying exactly what the much superior original did. In short: I loved it, but could've been better.
Though it is certainly flawed (and the plot is complicated), nevertheless it's a really enjoyable film, with great action scenes and performances. And if a sequel is in the works, then I'm definitely interested in seeing it.
A very charming film, entertaining to bits, with great performances (especially Ryan Reynolds'), though the plot is complicated at times and the sad moments are too heartbreaking...
Loved this film to bits!
A beautiful and mesmerizing movie, with fantastic performances, but super depressing and unpleasantly heartbreaking: not for sensitive viewers...
Though it's not as appealing nor as great nor as funny as the original (and it does have a lot of flaws, including the changes made with Jafar, whom I found very weak despite some intimidating scenes), it's still an awesome film, funny, heartfelt, action-packed, worthy of making us relive the nostalgia :D
I loved this film to bits, everything: the cast (especially James Franco, who excelled in his role), the story, the music... What's not to like this about this amazing movie!?
Being a Harry Potter fan, I was looking forward for this film, but sadly "I confess myself disappointed". While the action scenes, special effects and performances are top-notch and getting better and better, I still found this film very incomplete - it looked like an incomplete sequel, it could've been loads better, and it suffered from a rather confusing plot and completely out-of-nowhere scenes. Not bad (it's still enjoyable), but disappointing.
Though it has some flaws, and isn't as good as the 1973 hit THE EXORCIST, nevertheless it works thanks to hair-raising scenes, an intriguing script, and a terrifying performance from Jennifer Carpenter! I loved it :D
This film is gorgeously looking and hilarious, has an interesting plot (though complicated at times), benefits from a talented cast, and works as a Harry Potter spin-off.
Though it could've been better, it's still an improvement upon the first film, with brilliant CGI, gripping action scenes, and a well-developed plot. Loved it :D
It does receive a chuckle or some laughs from here and there, but still, this movie is bad. Not the worst (it's still watchable), just bad.
I discovered this film by mere coincidence, never even knowing of its existence. And I truly loved it: the story, Banderas' performance, the characters, everything!
A disturbing film, but a poignant character study and a brilliant depiction of the horrors of the Vietnam War... I loved it!
Not quite as adventurous as it should be, and it has some annoying moments (especially Kevin Hart and Jack Black), but still, it is exciting and absolutely hilarious!
This film is indeed adventurous, dark and exciting, but it's exceedingly long, and Kate Capshaw as Willie Scott is more annoying than your typical damsel in distress. Could be better.
Predictable as it is, and not quite as appealing as the 1974 adaptation, this version still works thanks to a creepy atmosphere, realistic background and brilliant performances.
This movie certainly has its flaws, but nevertheless it's amazing, refreshing, heartfelt, and benefits from an abundance of chemistry between its two leads. I loved it :D
