Made absolutely no sense the plot twist. Rendered everything else null.
This is a prime example of how hollywood stars are overrated. This is by far one of the worst movies I've seen with some bonafide hollywood stars. Wonder why they kept repeating the song and the lines, was that the comedy? Left a huge plot hole that made it seem like they got tired with the movie. I don't understand what happened here who approved this script and movie. One of the worst movies you will see. So dumb they may even give it an oscar for something.
Sometimes you see movies where you root to see the actors die because they take some of the dumbest decisions. This is that kind of movie. SPOILER how can you get bitten in both arms and a leg and it does not affects any of your physical movement? But entertaining nevertheless.
Movie was reasonably good. I think they should've set it up in like a post apocalyptic world. Because I kept thinking where is the police in all this. I like films that mix humor and gore. Heads will explode and arms will get ripped off. Very entertaining movie overall.
Not a bad movie, but John Wick's luck of not getting hit by a bullet is a way over the top. Keanu looked lost in some of the fights. I found strange how the chinese guys were all professional until they had to fight John, then they went all 12 year old girl fans of his. And why did he had to shoot the guys so many time in the head? At the end of the day it was an entertaining action / sci-fi movie.
Movie was good overall, but I really didn't like the dialogs, very cheesy and done a thousand times.
Decent film. Dialogues were horrible. Just people not answering question or lying. I found funny, when the pastor in the church tells he the story of La Llorona, and he tells that La Llorona threw herself in the river where she had just killed her kids. But it was more like a 6 inches deep creek than a river. Had a few good jump scares.
There's very little to no action in the first 2 hours of the film, then we see the big fight for like 25 minutes, Hulk dissappears again during the fight, and between Tony death memorial and some miscellaneous dialogue covers the last 30 minutes.
I liked how aggressive the killer was with his moves. The should've developed a bit more the killer's story. And clocking at just 1:40 in time is just right. You get 30-40 minutes of gruesome action.
Took me 3 days to finish this movie on how bad it was. The movie is way too long. Could've easy been done in 1:30 hours there's not much going on. It has a vibe of art school project kind of film. The director tries very vaguely to explain the plot and it takes him two hours to do so. The one part where you would see some major killings is in the last half hour and the director decided to used a red filter so everything was red and black and screwed that up too.
spoiler: Completely idiotic. The story of an irresponsible woman. We would've have no movie if she just opened her letters. Lives got destroyed because of that.
Nothing new. But reasonable to watch. Bad CGI.
Great movie killings start as soon as all the family is united and they don't stop until the last second of the movie. Don't understand why are people asking for plots. You want a plot you go see a drama or a spy movie. Let me save you the trouble and tell you the movie is about a family member who pays some killers to kill his family to get the inheritance, that's it.
The last 20-30 minutes of the movie were fine and creepy. I didnt like the acting and the writing. The conversations were stupid. The session tapes had nothing to do with the main plot. They couldve done something with that and miss their chance.
Excellent movie. This is how a suspense thriller should be done. The film rolls with a few spooky crime scenes until at the end they find the guy they are looking for.
Movie is dumb, Plot is as thin as you can imagine. Basically is the main character walking around the house for like 45 minutes trying and failing to build suspense. A super rushed ending in the final 10-15 minutes. And a plot twist as dumb as the movie in general. Don't waste you time. Watch the official trailer you'll know what I mean. 1:45 of nothingness with 10 seconds of excitement.
Very good suspense movie, very sadistic and reasonable good special effects. But hate when movies are move forward based on obvious dumb decisions of the characters. I liked Michael Fassbender work. **spoiler** The guy was driving his car at full speed while screaming he couldn't see and trying to escaped from the kids running behind him ON FOOT. Obviously he had to crash.
It's more of a couple of tragic circumstances that happened to a family than a horror film. Either the director or the actors failed in express any kind of acting when they were supposed to be in an attic full of flies and foul smell. I liked Alex Wolff acting but Toni Collette she tried and tried to cry without a single drop of tear. There's not enough for this to be 2 hours long. The end seemed rushed like it felt it didn't had to do anything with all the drama that we've just seen. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
One of the best movies this year. Very well written, so many characters and yet everything flowed well.
