This movie was mediocre at best, some good and entertaining moments. Don't believe the hype it's factual, or even close to. It is the inglorious Bastard version of the War in Afghanistan, without the over the top Tarantino violence or over the top charismatic captivating dialogue. Bradd Pitt seems to be playing a character that is inspired by Gen McChrystal, but he acts more like 1st Lt. Aldo "The Apache" Raine than McChrystal. At best this movie is a satire/parody of the realities of Afghanistan war in 2014, and of the military officers that served on the leadership of that endeavor. It's such a misrepresentation of a serious situation and such a character assassination of the individuals that were thrown in it. Without any hesitation or reservation I categorize this movie as absolute garbage.
This movie is hot garbage. Has basically nothing from the comic book which inspired it. It is just another worthless Hollywood action flick with all of the tropes that come with it. None of the characters have any sense of depth and the action scenes are mostly forgettable. Not even Angelina Jolie saved this movie. Don't waste your time watching it.
Is a great film Jack Nicholson is a great joker Michael Keaton is probably one of the best if not the best Batman. The theme song for this movie became the theme song for Batman. Only problem is Batman fans half with this movie is his blatant disregard for human life. Not the traditional Batman character portrayed in the majority of BatmanStories. Nevertheless it's a great film, which added a lot of the concepts that we usually associate the Batman character with, such as; the Batmobile, the murky Gotham city Stories. Nevertheless it's a great film, which added a lot of the concepts that we usually associate the Batman character with, such as; the burton Batmobile, the murky Gotham city,( Gothic and Victorian architecture's on a 1950s New York setting), and the blimps. For anyone who is a fan of Batman or a fan of Tim Burton it is a must see.
This movie is just plain ridiculous it's not enjoyable. It attempts to be edgy and funny and fails In an epic manner in achieving either.
Consistently rated as one of the best movies in the MCU. It diverts from the original Marvel comic Civil War, but it is similar in the general concept of superheroes being required to register to the government. Eventually this creates conflict between Iron Man and Captain America, to wedge that conflict Captain America's best friend is being framed for murder Of the king of Wakanda. This catapults a series of marvel superheroes to fight against each other resulting in one of the best superhero movies created.
It follows in the tradition of superman characters who are in invulnerable to any's main damage. This is not Shakespeare this is a movie for individuals that enjoy action movie. It is a mixture of Taken and John Wick, is just as good as either. It's the story of a man with a really strong moral code and an equally strong ability to kill bad guys with bullet and martial arts.
This is an excellent movie. The action scenes are entertaining. It introduces gun katas, original concept of gun action which results in scenes with a John woo feel, in the way gun fights are handled. This film is mistakenly compared this to the matrix despite this movie being directed and produced before the matrix saga Saga. It is extremely, it explores the philosophy of a society that has been desensitized from all forms of emotion in an attempt to produce the perfect utopia. Instead it creates a society that is unable to face its flaws instead tries to erase its problem by killing individuals that do not conform, creating a new series of problems for its population. This is where Christians Bale's characters comes into play. First he loses his wife to the system secondly is obligated to kill his best friend /partner. Christian Bale‘a character is part of the enforcement structure that silences individuals who fail to take the medication the numbs their emotion, which is considered illegal. From then the main character stops taking the medication and resulting in the best enforcer fighitng the system, all the way to the top which results in a series of great action and well executed scenes. Is a great movie for anybody who loves action movies, it's timeless and awesome.
Great movie for the kids, not as exiting as the first film, but overall really good. It's great family fun.
Exceptional animation and storytelling. Story wise similar to BTAS and the animation is an anime roulette of various top anime directors taking a swing at Batman, an absolute threat.
The animation is incredible, the story is ok, the final act ruins it. It feels like they tried to cram way too much Batfamily elements. There was more of a concern to feudal Japan versions of Batman characters than a coherent story. Far more Japanese tropes than what was necessary. Overall makes little sense. What a waste of beautiful animation. They should of taken the material serious. The Gotham knight anime is a better use of Japanese animation and Batman mythos.
It was pretty cool, felt disjointed and inconsistent. But even with the behind the scene drama it still came out pretty cool
The DCAU version of The Tower of Babel story. It captures the essence of the story, my only beef with this version is that prefer Ras al Gul than vandal savage just like the original comic.
The execution and quality of this story is perfect. The animation was great.
A bit sloppy. Not what is expected from DC animations. It's as bad as a Marvel animation.
Good, the animation is not as good as the previous, but still good.
It was faithful to the original material in the way it could. The end and the customes is the only parts where it differs from the graphic novel. The essence of the story and conclusion remain intact. Visually stunning.
Not even Roscharch was able to save this movie, great casting, but horrible script.
It's enjoyable, nice fun fest.
The best of Bay's Transformers saga, which is not a high bar. Don't pay a penny to or go out of your way watch this. It's meh at best, just a time killer.
