A lot of the movies plot made no sense. There was an entire approximately hour long scene that was a complete waste of time in the end.
If Poe is one of the high commanders and best pilot, you would tell your high ranking officer the plan. That makes no sense not too, only for the writers to make the long and useless plot that wasted half the movie with.
The character development and the plot fell flat. I was hugely disappointed in an entirety.
Every build up The Force Awakens build up, this movie destroyed.
And then the one scene that was incredible cringe. Flying through space. You all know the scene. That was just. Bad.
I stumbled upon this randomly, but within a few minutes I was hooked. I thought the storyline was pretty good and the movie it self was awesome. The actors within did a really good job. And then the plot twist was crazy, I didn't really see that coming.
A lot of the bad reviews I saw all came from people who read the book and didn't like the comparison. However, you can't expect the movie to surpass the book. If you live like that, all of these awesome movies that do detour away from the book, but are still good, will always let you down.
I do plan to read the book after this movie, but for what the movie was, it was really good and worth a watch!
The best and my favorite of all the Friday the 13th movies!
I love the character development of Tommy, and the whole story with him.
i thought this was the coolest form of Jason, and by far the scariest. This is the movie I always go back and re-watch every Halloween.
I was really hyped for this movie because I love the Halloween series. However, by writing out all the other movies destroyed this movie. Taking away the super natural aspect of Michael Myers the other movies built up made this movie a big flop. In this movie he was just a random crazy person, who once free from prison just walk around slashing people. The kills had absolutely no scare aspect to them.
They also ruined Laurie Strode in this movie by making her a complete loon after only the events of the first movie. I can see if she went crazy if it followed after H20, but since none of them never happened, then get over it.
H20 did her significantly better. She was still paranoid but still a normal person. Also the three generations of strode woman was pretty cheesy.
But back to the major hole in the movie. Michael Myers. No scare aspect to him. It was just him roaming the street killing randomly to make it a gore fest. The writers really need to rewatch the older movies to learn the build up to the kill is one of the most dramatic.
They could have done much better. However, due to how well the movie actually did, I worry the next two they plan will follow the same mistakes.
