Literally the most boring movie i have ever seen. Unlikable characters, the whole vibe is WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE STAYING HERE. And it took long for any pay-off. A well directed snooze-fest. 0.5/5
There is nothing remotely scary about this film, apart from one scene which was quite brutal. Everything else? Meh. Predictable sequel to a classic. 3/5
This film is a tough watch. Very realisitc in the sense of how serial killers work. A disturbing film in my opinion. Gripping but something i wouldn't watch again.
First things first: i enjoyed this movie, with some downsides. It Chapter Two wasn't perfect, but it did bring some good twists for me, as i hadn't read the book. The jump scares: very meh. In the whole movie i jumped once. The only reason i included this count was because there was so many potential jump scares that didn't work. Pennywise was also less frightening in this movie. The cast worked well together and Bill Hader stole the show with his one liners. As with the original, the group dynamics interested me more and the finale did bring a tear to my eye. I was never bored through-out the runtime. Go watch even once. 3.5/5
Its impoissble how utterly dull and dumb this movie is. With so much talent behind the scenes, where did it all go wrong? The story was non-sensical, with zero thrills, and the actors looking like they were going through the motions, almost as if they could tell how bad it was going to be. 0.5/5
Whoever thought this was a good idea has longgggg been fired. Horrific film. 0.5/5
First off: Joaquin Phoenix steals every scene in this movie, his performance is nothing short of spellbinding. This take on the Joker is especially different than previous iterations in that it is more a charactor study on someone with mental health issues, who snaps back at a cruel world. Dark, moody, with some blood-shed and splashes of dark humour, it is especially different than the majority of comic-book movies out there. Something i really appreciated. With great twists this Joker is not playing around. 4/5
A step above the majority of sequels, but still disappointing as a prequel to the alien series. The plot is just plain over-bearing, the engineers etc are not that interesting. Decent at best. 3/5
On the same level as the original. It doesn't aim to be anything other than a stupid B-movie. 1/5
Terrible. This movie didn't have to be a basic, stupid B-movie, but that's exactly where it aims to be. 1/5
Better than the third installment, but still pales in comparision to the first two movies. Ripley now cloned, has DNA with the aliens (why), the action is sub-par and the supporting cast are extremely annoying. 2.5/5
A disappointing third installment that feels like several different ideas threw into a movie that feels unfinished and disjointed. Several scenes are good but overall just meh. 2/5
A rare sequel that not only lives up to the original, but builds upon it. With amped up action and lots of suspense, this sequel is a classic! 5/5
A fantastic Si-Fi thriller that packs a punch for first time viewers. A classic monster movie! 5/5
The first half of this movie is tense with a good mystery surrounding the storyline. Its when the monsters are added that it feels a little slapped together. Still a solid thriller. 3.5/5
Great biopic detailing Judy Garlands life. At times heartbreaking and also some funny moments. Judy Davis was brilliant, it actually felt like i was watching Judy Garland. Loved this. 5/5
What more can be said apart from the fact that this movie is timeless with great performances and iconic imagery and music. A must-see classic! 5/5
Judy is a great biopic that plays the final year of her life. Although at times tragic, it was moving and at times very funny. The final scene before the credits was so touching. It's a must watch. 4/5
First off: the acting is great! I loved the 80's synth score and the direction in particular. The story isn't all that original, but for horror fans of the serial killer sub-genre this packs a punch, with some awesome twists. I loved it. 4/5
