Blobbo X @Blobbo 12/25/2023 Blobbo never saw before. But if had, would remember fondly. Plus, young Martha Raye remind Blobbo of Judy Garland some ways. See more 09/02/2021 Martha Raye and Bob Hope reteam for the third time in this comedy of errors, co-starring Andy Devine, Alan Mowbray, and Gale Sondergaard, directed by Elliot Nugent. Raye is more subdued than usual and sings the bouncy "Tra-la-la, Oom-pa-pa." Bob thinks he's dying due to a mix-up of medical reports between him and a dog. Preston Sturges contributed to the screenplay, originally intended for Jack Benny. See more 09/03/2020 A Classic slapstick farcical romp, the story is brilliant and silly and the characters are lovably goofy and well performed. Martha Raye is an absolute star, and Bob Hope is smarmy and clever as always. See more 11/17/2016 Hope & Raye yet again, this time the old trope of a man believes he is dying only to fall and love and find out he's living. Tired concept but fun with the stars.
