When Gnomeo and Juliet first arrive in London with their friends and family, their biggest concern is getting a new garden ready for spring. When everyone in the garden suddenly goes missing -- there's only one gnome to call -- Sherlock Gnomes. The famous detective and sworn protector of the city shows up with his sidekick Watson to investigate the case. The mystery soon leads the gnomes on a rollicking adventure as they meet all-new ornaments and explore an undiscovered side of London.

It's a serviceable animated take on a well known tale that also happens to be a sequel. One could call it a movie solely for kids, but you can't even trust them being happy with the product.

Ironically Sherlock was by far the most likable character in this movie, but apparently the creators of this film wanted the audience to dislike him. Well, that didn’t work out so well. I only ended up not liking the original cast. Everyone was kinda annoying… I also felt like they absolutely massacred Moriarty because 1) why does he look like this and 2) he‘s very 2 dimensional. There wasn’t any depth in his character at all

I have no clue why this movie was made. The plot is bonkers, the characters are less lovable, and it feels like one big fever dream, but not in a good way.

Sherlock Gnomes one of the "kind-of-average" films of 2018, not compared to Disney's Ralph Breaks The Internet. Kids will find this movie interesting; adults will find it boring. The plot is not enough of its detail, one of the main characters is desperate about getting his wife's attention, another character is kind of rude. It would be best to take your kid to see an appropriate kids movie rather than this.
