Jeff G Aug 1 One of the funniest and yet slightly retrograde documents of sexually liberated French cinema in the 80s Blier went out of his way to push every button of repressed middle class culture. And this was just the beginning. But now one wonders if this film was a setup for Depardieu's more recent legal issues See more David K 2d Better than a lot of the films where Louis Armstrong appeared earlier in his film career. This one is helped by the presence of the effervescent and highly talented (and likable) Dick Powell. Louis makes a couple of appearances, one of which is singing the classic Jeepers Creepers, the theme song of the film. Mr. Armstrong also goes beyond that as a trainer of sorts of the horse, Jeepers Creepers, who needs to hear the song to run his best race.
