I am a huge Vince Vaughn fan, so I was excited to see that he was in a new movie! I did not sure what to expect with this movie, since it was listed as a Sci-fi, comedy, action, crime film. However, it was wonderful. The Sci-fi portion is very limited, so don't expect some crazy futuristic concepts. Time travel is involved, which makes it weakly Sci-fi. I would consider more of an action/comedy. It was very entertaining and funny, with several laugh-out-loud moments. The storyline was also very unique and incredibly well-written. There were some twists and turns that I was not anticipating. Jimmy Tatro plays my favorite character. The dimwitted son of a mob boss. He had several great moments. There was a decent amount of action in the film, which is borderline cheesy at times, but overall satisfying. My one disappointment was the underutilization of Ben Schwartz. I was hoping he would be in the movie longer. Overall, I would highly recommend catching this flick.

Got bored half way through as hadn't laughed once. The action felt action-less, the story pointless and completely devoid of comedy. Just felt like a massive waste of talent and the performances gave the feeling they were only doing this for the paycheck!

I watched this three times back to back the first time I came across it. And many times since. I will never NOT rewatch this movie. The cast is amazing, the humor is absolutely delightful, and the redemption cresendos are everything. My only annoyance with it was also pretty great, because it brought smiles when I thought about it lol. The opening credits track was stuck in my head for like 6 weeks, but cheered me up remembering the cartoon I first encountered it in as well as Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice. Soundtrack continued in awesomeness right through the whole thing. As someone so disillusioned with humanities failure & state of affairs in real life, this movie is a healing balm for what ails me.
