Eric Vilas-Boas New York Magazine/Vulture 6h
Murase and his team delivered aggressively on exactly what longtime Gundam fans crave: strikingly animated duels between menacing metal giants, political commentary in dialogue with the real world, and a meditation on the ’70s and ’80s characters... Go to Full Review

Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe’s character-heavy focus, on top of being the middle chapter of an already dense story, means the film will be very difficult for people who have not at least seen Hathaway. Go to Full Review
Chris Sawin Giant Freakin Robot 5d

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe feels uneventful, and its strange use of almost absolute darkness and bizarre montages only sours the fact that you could be watching mobile suits pound each other stupid in the sky instead. Go to Full Review

A by-the-numbers, often dull and monotonous anime film with decent animation, but it'll only entertain hardcore fans of the Mobile Suit Gundam film series Go to Full Review

It's a very busy narrative, with its various threads sprawling wildly, yet it remains vastly entertaining, ensuring that thoughtful action predominates, leading to an intense battle and a startling final shot. Go to Full Review

GS 9h Must see for Gundam fans. See more Jake 23h fantastic animation and story cant wait for part 3 See more Jose 23h If you are a fan of uc gundam or a fan of the first Hathaway movie I feel you will enjoy this. Uc gundam is my favorite of all the gundam time lines so I am a bit biased thats why its 5 stars. I will say the animation in this was amazing and the fights were great although there was a lot that took place in really dark dimly lit places where you could only make out more as explosions happened. Probably the only thing I would really complain about. If you are familiar with the franchise you will know that its not all about action and there is a lot of talking that goes on to world build so some things may not make sense if you have not seen previous mocies but if you like giant robots blowing each othwe up and political theillers this may be for you.I took my girlfriend who is not familiar with gundam and she had a good time as well if that helps you decide to watch it or not. See more jesse v 23h A perfectly serviceable Gundam drama movie that somehow has super realistic CGI and no loud or bright colors (only used for the 5 minutes of battles). I hate how absurdly dark the night scenes were in the enemy base. some animation movements looked very weird like it's a 3D engine trying to use characters in a 2D plane. The flashback scenes from the other movies were much more visually interesting honestly. See more Mike 1d Great story, beautiful animation, awesome soundtrack, and dazzling aerial combat sequences. The only problem is that its only showing for a week! See more Artemio 1d an excellent continuing Gundam saga. vivid colors, drama, action great anime See more Read all reviews
