Everything felt of, the acting feels forced, it relies too much on remember berries, it tries to be serieus and gooffy at the same time. It's just not for me. Also hated the daughter character (not the actress she is as mid in this as the rest). See more Roberto R @RT23454443 Jul 9 To be honest, I have to say I don't know how many times I've seen the entire series, maybe six times, but I think it's more. I almost feel like I know Monk, and his phobias aside, the actor who plays him, Tony Shalhoub, I think resembles him in character: kind, sensitive, and polite. I woul ike to know him. When I heard the film was coming out, I eagerly awaited its release. I really, really enjoyed it. The fact that the topic of suicide was touched upon so lightly really touched me.
